The Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine is a specialist hospital and reference hospital serving the southeastern part of Austria while functioning as a regional hospital for southern, eastern and western Styria. Our team offers a broad spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for children and adolescents.
Our department engages in innovative and interdisciplinary research at an international level. All areas of our discipline have a special research focus. We cover the entire spectrum of university research—from basic to applied research. This is how we guarantee that our patients receive treatment according to the latest scientific findings.
As a department, we are also active in practice-oriented teaching and training for students and postgraduates. Our highly qualified staff members pass on their knowledge and the latest scientific findings to students and trainees.
